How do you do it Holmes?

As far as show openers go, Sherlock was right up there. A fast pace (too fast in places), slick visuals and an intriguing plot all added up to a pilot that rivalled the first ever episode of Lost back in the summer of 2005. When you compare the budgets of the 2 shows it makes Sherlock even more impressive.
Amazingly the idea to set Sherlock in modern times worked, it had disaster written all over it but somehow they pulled it off. Maybe in these troubled times we need to know a nut-job genius is out there watching our back like More >

WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS…
So Series 5 is now all over, only 182 days til the Christmas special – yah! What a way to go, confusing as hell but utterly brilliant all at the same time. After the major shock ending of ‘The Pandorica Opens’ I was sceptical how they could conclude such an epic story without hitting the reset button that consistently plagued the Russel T Davis era. New Torchwood finally on the way

A year after the excellent 5-dayer ‘Torchwood Children of Earth’ came to its shocking conclusions we finally get the news we all hoped for. Torchwood will be back for a 4th series.
Pre-production is now underway and while no air date has been announced, expect to see it on your screens by the end of 2011.
John Barrowman and Eve Myles have both been confirmed to return as Captain Jack Harkness and Gwen Williams (nee Cooper). No mention yet of Gwens husband Rhys returning but it is highley likely that he will.
